There is also the option to spin capitalized words (assumed to be proper nouns) as well as leave any number of words unchanged, depending on whatever you enter into the "ignore" field, separated by commas. You also have the option to only keep the sentences that were altered a minimum percentage, as indicated by the "Keep Sentences that Changed" option.
If you have the vision, I'll provide the words. Whether you're looking to skyrocket your sales or find the perfect way to articulate your business's mission, values and USP on your website - I can take what's in your head and put it on the page, perfectly formed. Too many businesses overlook the importance of the words they choose when communicating with their customers. This is a critical mistake that's harming your business. After all, your copy is your voice, the only one your customers will likely ever hear - it's vital that you use it to make a connection. Connecting with your customers is the first step on the road to making a sale. Whatever the medium, I can help you. =============== Feedback I've received right here on Upwork (to date, never fewer than 5*): • "Steven helped me get my soul into my website copy. For the first time, I am to send people to my website thanks to him. It's truly been a gift to work with his creative genius." • "High quality, great communication, very skilled. Steven always delivers better than expected, this is why we use him continuously! Highly recommended." • "He's incredible. Love the work!" • "We have worked with Steven on different writing projects now, and we could not be more satisfied with every aspect of what he has delivered. Communication is great as always. Highly recommended!" • "It has been a pleasure working with Steven. He's a very talented writer and creates amazing content. I hope to work with him again soon when I need more content." =============== My background: I started my career in a client-facing sales role, which taught me (the hard way!) how to sell, and how to stop looking at the world from my own point of view, but from my clients'. What do they need? How can I fulfil that need? I use these principles in my writing daily. I moved out of sales and into corporate project management roles within blue chip IT and finance firms. Learning how to communicate at a corporate level has been invaluable in my work - I work with many corporate clients. These days, I'm a creative copywriter, a role which blends my varied experience with my greatest strength - my ability to write copy that gets people moving. =============== Interested in working together, or in learning more? Click on the green 'invite' button and drop me a few details about your project. I always respond to invites promptly, so it won't be long before we can connect for a chat. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Steven

Content writers may need a bachelor's degree or higher. Many employers hire writers with degrees in English, journalism, communications, or creative writing. Depending on the subject matter, content writers might need a degree in a particular field. For example, a content writer creating content for an online math course might need a degree in math in addition to demonstrating solid writing skills.
If there’s one course I’d recommend to anyone starting out as a freelance writer, it’d be yours. It was exactly what I needed when I started out and it’s helped me immensely over the past few months to put things into perspective. This post is just a teaser of what to expect from Writeto1K, but then again, all your blog posts are packed with the most useful tips you can find online. I can only say thank you for sharing them with us!

Elna, thank you for this wonderful article. It is full of resources, and it has motivated me to begin work as a freelance writer. I am currently a single parent of two witty little boys, who works full time outside of the home. In reading this article, I have found a renewed strength and a bit of a push to move forward with optimism to start little by little until I am able to eventually work more time from home. I appreciate you sharing this information.
Your article is helpful, and I plan to try some of these. Over the last couple years I’ve inadvertently picked up some writing jobs by good fortune that have paid .30 – .50/word, but writing was always a sideline. Now I want to do more of it – but searches are yielding abysmal and depressing results. My content is rarely and minimally edited (by professional editors)and I turn it in on time with solid grammar and syntax. I’ve been looking and finding gigs at .01/word or less. No wonder so much of the writing I read on the web is crap, including articles written by those who don’t know the difference between “less” and “fewer.” I hope your tips will help me find some quality gigs. After all, my name is attached to it even if there’s no byline.
You’re welcome! So happy you found this post helpful for you living in the UK! For me, I was a stay at home mom so I didn’t work at that time. I was a bit bored with the day-to-day of taking care of twins…you know diaper changes a million times a day, and cleaning up messes just as much. I needed a creative outlet so I explored work at home stuff online and my husband told me about freelance writing and being a virtual assistant. I immediately gravitated towards writing!
Native French speaker. I can translate websites, articles, documents or any material from English to French, or from French to English. I lived in London for 2 years, then I moved to Berlin, Germany, where I lived for 1 and a half year. I've been working in call centers / customer service environment for 10 years, therefore I have become a customer service expert. I'm also an article-writer ( in French and/or in English ), a data entry specialist and an experienced transcriber. I provide error-free translations, and most important, I know how to adapt to any kind of job or client. I like to do many things at the same time, that is what makes me a reliable contractor. translation, article writing, proofreading, transcription, customer service, data entry, call center activities, personal assistant.
In this day and age, it is by far the one of the hardest tasks to do online always coming up with fresh content for Google to devour. I love how easy Spin Re-Writer makes it for online marketers to get on with their business and not have to worry about the big G penalising their sites. Of course it's not just about fresh content, but it is certainly a big factor. Thanks Aaron and the team...:)
I’ve been rigorously studying freelancing for a while now (I plan on getting started after school ends in the first week of April) and I have to say your bog has been very helpful, especially this post. I thought cold mailing and job boards were the only places to find freelance writing job, and that it would be quite tough finding a job given the competition, but after going through this list, I think finding a job would be easier. If you're writing or rewriting anything for your site Instant Article Wizard will help you.
